What: Regular meditation practice has been shown to provide a myriad of benefits including lower stress, better focus and increased energy. Health and Counseling Services would like to encourage the development of a regular practice of meditation for all students, staff and faculty by providing a space and a regular time for twice weekly morning meditation sessions. Most people find that meditating in an environment with others provides a more powerful experience. These sessions will be silent which will permit you to bring your own practice of meditation.
When: Tuesday and Friday mornings – 8:10 to 8:25 AM beginning on Tuesday, August 15, 2017. Meditation will start promptly with a chime at 8:10 AM and end promptly at 8:25 AM.
Where: UNCA Health & Counseling Center Conference Room (118 W.T. Weaver Blvd)
Who: Open to all students, staff and faculty.
